- ITINERARY I:
A commented tour through the heart of the historic center. Our guide will explain the origin of the city and how it became the destination of the largest European pilgrimage as well as one of the main universities in Spain. The Cathedral, the Monasteries of San Martín and San Pelayo, the Casa de la Troya or the Colegio de Fonseca allow us to discover the art, history and traditions of this World Heritage city.
Itinerary: Plaza del Obradoiro, Plaza de la Inmaculada, Plaza de San Martín Pinario, Rúa da Troia, Vía Sacra, Plaza de la Quintana, Platerías, Rúa do Vilar and Fonseca.
- ITINERARY II:
This guided tour begins with the introduction to the city in the Plaza del Obradoiro, then the history and architecture of the Cathedral is explained and from this point a pedestrian tour that will embrace a good part of the historic center begins .
The different streets and squares, the churches and manor houses, the monasteries and convents that we will find will allow us to learn about the urban and historical development of the city, besides all the stories and anecdotes that our guide will tell us.
Itinerary: Plaza del Obradoiro, Platerías, Rúa Nova, Cardenal Payá, Mazarelos, Praza da Universidade, Mercado de Abastos, San Agustín, Porta do Camiño, San Domingos de Bonaval, San Roque and Praza de Cervantes.
Architectural tour to the City of Culture

This is a discovery of a different Gaiás, which will take you on an express tour explaining the basic lines of the architectural project and the main uses and landmarks of the complex, and the keys to how it operates. The tour takes you to the multi-purpose space at level -1 of the Gaiás Centre Museum and also the amazing underground service gallery, which communicates with the underground space in all the buildings.
Included on the tour is a short route taking in outside spaces, including the Theatre Garden, with botanical species from different parts of the world, and the monumental central plaza that can be seen from the entry to the Gaiás Centre Museum.
